Federal Tax Credit

What is the Federal Tax Credit?

Currently there is a federal solar energy tax credit available at 26% of the total cost of a photovoltaic (PV) solar system for commercial and residential systems placed in service by December 31st 2022. Starting in January of 2023 the tax credit drops to 22%, and is set to expire in 2024. This means more money back in your pocket if you go solar now!

How do I claim my tax credit?

Aloe Solar will provide you with an invoice for the total cost of your solar system which you will use when filing form IRS - 5695 with your tax provider on your annual tax filing. We are not professional tax advisors, and we recommend you speak with your tax advisor about your  specific situation.

Financing Options

We offer several financing options, and will work with you to try to find a loan that is about the same cost, or less, than your current electricity bill. To learn more about the specifics of the loans we offer, give us a call!

How does financing work?

We will submit your information to the financing company for a soft credit check. If you qualify for one of their loans, we will get you set up on their portal where you will enter your information and sign a contract. You will then make payments directly to the lender for the tenure of your loan.
